Hello Students and Parents,Welcome to my blog site. This site will keep you informed on the activities that will occur throughout the school year in our class. I hope you will find the information useful. You may blog me with any questions you may have concerning what we will be learning in this current term. We will be exploring the properties of air and the characteristics of flight in our science unit. So be prepared to take flight with me. We will also be sailing with Samuel de Champlain and Jacques Cartier to explore the New World. Pack light, we will not be able to take many items with us on this journey. In math, we will be looking at place value of large and small amounts. Then we will move on to multiplying whole numbers by 1 000, 10 000, and 100 000; and later by 0.1, 0.01, and 0.001.
